FLUX (Future, Living Urban, eXperience), a research program from Centre of Expertise Smart Sustainable Cities in cooperation with the research group Co-Design of Hogeschool Utrecht, aims on starting the conversation about the future by using interactive, personal and communicative media. To achieve this goal, we developed an interactive and physical game based on 'hard to imagine' scenarios in which the user can choose between two options and thus start a conversation.

We concluded that
The concept has to be engaging but simple so the user does not get overwhelmed by the severity of the themes.
The concept has to be interactive, but not distract from the eventual goal.
There has to be a social interaction aspect between users so they are more likely to start a conversations between them and are willing to play more than once.
